Sponsorship Assistant – Nablus
The successful candidate will:
Coordinate all tasks related to the Sponsorship plan requirements, including
collection of information and management of child and project data
Communicate the Sponsorship philosophy in targeted communities
Contribute to the implementation of the annual Sponsorship plan
Maintain individual files for all sponsored children
Collaborate with ADP staff on child-related goals and objectives
Qualifications/Requirements
• High school graduate or a Diploma in a relevant subject
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a related field
- Working knowledge of English (spoken and written)
- Ability to travel to rural areas and interact with various communities
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Experience in community development and/or (I)NGOs an asset
- Qualified female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
- Integrity and strong identification with World Vision Core Values
- Position is based in Nablus

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY – DRIVER
The Representative Office in Ramallah is seeking to hire a qualified candidate
for the position of Driver. This will be a permanent position, initially
working split shifts (Mon-Thurs 0630-0930 and 1600-1900 hrs and
Fri 0630-0930 and 1230-1530 hrs).
Mandatory Qualifications:
• Class C1 heavy vehicle driver’s licence
• Fluency in written and spoken English, Arabic and Hebrew
• Ability/willingness to travel within the West Bank, Gaza and Israel
Rated Qualifications:
• Ability to safely operate a 5-ton vehicle
• Effective communication skills
• High standard of client service
• Function effectively as part of a team
• Be adaptable in order to accomplish assignments in a busy environment
• Knowledge and alertness of prevailing security conditions in area
of operation
Desireable Qualifications:
• Ability to speak French
• Experience/training in the operation of an armoured vehicle
• Experience with international organizations
Conditions of Employment:
Ability to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Enhanced Reliability
Security Clearance;
Legal ability to work in Israel and travel throughout Israel, the West Bank
and Gaza;
Ability to work additional hours/overtime, sometimes on short notice.
